lol gino you're my boy blue (don't switch wolf packs on me)

but we do like a lot of different shit. you know im probably the least toughest critic here (fuck look at the music i put out and proudly stand by ) therefore i prob buy a lot of artists material you would never waste your money on, but that's what makes me espef. and your wacky flea market finds are what make you gene (No tippi)

not having a gf and finding out what raps she likes, or jumping on the god whore heems bandwagon like every other brainwashed member of this site has in the last year. well i can't hate on mach cuz he's on armand hammer and i am the og backwoodz grown man fan boy on this site (suck it tippi)

Slowed waaaay down on copping shit since I'm saving for this house, but the place I like to dig at was having a 50 percent off sale so I scooped up these

One of my favorite rappers, love this dude to death. Chunk if his shit is hard to come by and this is one I've been on the lookout for this for a while. Got it for like $8 which was a no brainer for me. Mediocre album if I'm being honest, but as a collector I'm a sucker for filling gaps.

I don't own any Fat Boys album, which is one of those random things that bugged me for years. They had this for $6 so went ahead and scooped it up.

Classic southern album. I have almost all their shit, as a group at least, just digging around for those few random ones I don't have. Was happy to find this one.

Love B.G. but I don't have high hopes for his boys. That being said it was $2 which for the B.G. verses alone should be worth it.

I get one very random Bone Thugs kicks. They're one of those groups where when I'm in the mood I love em, but when I'm not they bore me. One of the cool things about them is they have such a vast discog of side projects and off-shoots that there's always something new for me to find when that mood strikes.

This last month or so I've spent almost exclusively going through all these younger artists. Dudes like 21 Savage, Young Thug, Migos, ect. Honestly these kids got a lot of dope shit floating around. I can't be mad at them. Decided to pick this up on the cheap since I haven't heard anything from these two yet.

I've never been a fan. I've tried many, many times. I dug some of the old pop Destiny's Child shit I guess, but her solo stuff was always terrible. Picked this up just to hear what all the hype was about. Being dubbed an instant classic and whatnot. Surprised me to be real because it really is that good. Lot of banging production with some catchy songwriting. I'm impressed she made something I actually enjoy. "Daddy Lessons" is my favorite track.

gino, one of these days we're gonna get the chance to meet up and be irl friends while bumping a bunch of old shitty new york mixtapes and chain smoking squares.

Me and my son are doing our pizza challenge tonight. Every few months me, him and his mom all pick up a bunch of random ingredients and see who can make the best pizza. I always smash em with my bbq honey, Canadian bacon steez. I was bumping some Drake shit for him on the way to the store, he wasn't amused. Only Hip Hop he fucks with is the Dino 5.

^^^thats awesome. def a meet up would be ill. my son turned 5 in may and the other day he comes in the kitchen at the top of his lungs singing "shes a ladyyyyyyy" fuckin tom jones. only once he got in my truck and i forgot to turn the radio off before i got out to get him and now all he asks for is daddies music with the bad words lol he heard like 5 seconds of something. i love homemade pizza to. i always make white pizza with a few diff veggies as thin as possible. left over homemade pizza is fucking incredible tho, i almost wanna cook it, let it get cold and then eat it. but yea man, it would be all love, hugs all around and yes cigarettes and terrible music from 2004 sounds amazing.

^yo graph. instead of buyin a house and going in mad debt - have you thought about getting a decent cheap piece of land in a less expensive area and building a small home on it? its like a quarter of the price and no debt!

I've definitely thought about it mask, especially as I get older. Honestly I would really love a piece of land out in the country where I could just chill. The house I'm tryna get now is my dream house though. Literally, everything I ever wanted. 3 story, furnished basement, huge yard. It's dope, lot of room to grow my family too since I'm tryna have at least 3 more kids.

The people selling it are offering it to me for 150 thousand, and I own the house I'm in now so selling this one should knock a chunk off it. I'll be in debt for sure, but I can't imagine it'll take me over 15 or 20 years to pay it off, by which point I'll be thinking about retirement so it should all work out.

Did some chilling out in Austin TX last weekend. Great city! Seriously dig it out there; amazing food, great bars & drinks, and an awesome art scene. People really know how to live out there and have a good time compared to NYC where no one even looks at each other or says hello.

As always came home with more art and vinyl to open my own gallery. No hip hop :/ but I did listen to a bunch in the car. Put a friend on to Your Old Droog while I was down there. Showed him the song UFO in A Sasquatch and he was like "yo, this is dope" and I was like "yea, man ughh hip hop is the best" he shook his head in acknowledgement.

Eseph if you haven't peeped Ex Machina watch that. It's one of the newer movies of the bunch. Really good flick. Rouge One is also the best Star Wars since the original trilogy.

Don you talking about Mask of the Phantasm? Naw I don't have that one, not sure it's on vinyl. I had a box set of various Batman animated series episodes had one record for Iceman, heart of ice was the episode I think.

^^^why lol its strategic. i like the standard, weekend, acquisitions and singles thread. but wen new albums or eps come out i only like to have at most 5-6 stickies at the top and things over take others so they get bumped off quicker than some might feel they should. if its stickied for an entire 2 days and its not even at 16 replies, it needs to go. it got 400 views and the attn the poster wanted but the reply isnt ther. its a system lol

Editing the date on this thread, to make room for your new sticky is wierder than you just having 3 of your own stickies up at the same time

The weekend & singles threads are really played out

Bring back the Jazz, Soul, Funk & Fusion threads you used to do. I got some gems to drop off

i will bring it back and nobody has done the singles thread in like 3 weeks but the weekend thread i like. its a weird thing and a weird reason i wanted to be mod but i chronicle the music i listen to. im old and forget, i could easily write it down but i like the album covers. sorry for being 10 yrs old but i enjoy the weekend thread. but that jazz/funk/soul is def coming back don, soon enough. hopefully this time with personal pics. maybe like a crate diggers thread we do.
