ETW made the thread earlier in the week requesting questions to be asked to us. Just got off the phone, answered a bunch of them. The recording app cut off a half hour into the convo which is why there's two separate recordings.

Enjoy...

thers parts i really like but wat i hate bout these is that clock sounds so clear and im clearly talking thru a phone. plus i fucking hate my voice. i also didnt realize til after doing a few of this that today, i still have a philly/south jersey accent bad. i say the word like alot and u kno. i sound amateur as fuck. lol also not nearly as many laughs as ther coulda been but people said they liked the music talk more last time then the forum stuff. i had fun but my sex appeal even to a group of guys doesnt come across as well as it does irl. i feel bad

^ you were.....right- your a dad so you already knew. you already know! (juelz santana voice).not really whispering much but kept the voice toned down for sure. kept the laughs restrained etc. the last thing i need after a long ass day is the kids waking up and interrupting my rap and beer night. i only get 1 a week. not drinking that many actually(since some may think i'm an alchy). 4-5 tall cans per week. nothing liver destroying going on.

you guys have the potential to make these podcasts really dope. the humor is there but could be brought out even more. thats my only criticism (which is actually a compliment.) cause the subjects were all dope and relevant, no real rambling or dull moments. its like listening to rap talk radio- which i can dig.

Just listened. Good shit guys

It would be dope to make it a real podcast with intro/outro, sound bumpers. Guest calls. Skype or Discord would probably be better for sound

Love the title "Podcast on Steriods".

I listened to the first part and a little less then half of the second.

Gino comes off as everyday people. I'd go drinking with him. Prolly end up kicking the shit out of him by the end of the night tho. lol.

Clockwork I'm still not so sure about. I feel like he doesn't read enough. Plus he's got this weird habit of talking when he should be listening.

Oh and put some music in the background next time you do one of these things. I listened to this while Silent Partner Instrumentals played and it was way cooler.

Plus he's got this weird habit of talking when he should be listening.

Funny you said that cause I've been told that irl in regards to me half listening to a person cause im already thinking about my response. I will say tho when you're leading/hosting a conversation as was the case here, it's more difficult to do.

As far as the reading thing, are you talking about being articulate? You get this was a conversation between two bros shooting the shit about underground hip hop and message board forum members lulz.

Tread lightly now that you're on ollie's shit list bruh.

And for any heads newer the forum, here's the first one we did back in January when ETW had taken a break from the forum...

Yeah you can tell that you're thinking about what you're gonna say next Clock. A lot of people do it. Just listening to a convo between two people you can notice it more.

What i meant about reading more was nothing about being articulate or not. I thought somewhere you said you watch like way too many shows on TV. Never heard you recommend a book.

CS having intro/outtros, sounds and call ins.

Gino was dead on with his Griselda comments. Wish it didn't cut out cuz he was on a roll there.

I know we labeled it a "podcast" but it was literally a phone conversation. If anyone has tips on how to add intros, outros, music, etc. without playing it into my phone from another source please let me know. Id be more then down to do so.

Yea buck i watch a bunch of TV shows and barely read any books, unless their hop hop related (Scarface bio, Check The Technique, etc). My attention span isn't there anymore. Funny cause growing up I was all about those R.L. Stine books lulz. Side note but I'm two episodes away from finishing The Punisher and holy shit is that series awesome. Favorite Marvel/Netfix series.

I think me skimming threads goes to what i was saying regarding attention span. I actually addressed it during the conversation when we conversed about tippi and how he's one of the only users who when they type a lot Ill actually read.

its funny how clock is getting called out for attn span, even tho he admits to it but i think i might even have him beat. i cant listen to music if im not doing something else nemore. i need to watch tv with my headphones on, or drive while its on or ughh on my computer with my headphones on. if someone told me just sit and listen to 60-65 mins of music without ne outside interfence i dont kno if i could do it. and the more yrs go by i name less and less rappers or producers i wanna sit and pay attn to super hardcore so i dont miss nething. its strange i can sit for 3-4 hrs and watch interviews which is staring at someones head for 60 mins but music that switches up each song i cant. same with watching movies. its fuckin hard to concentrate but ill watch a 3 hr wrestling interview in one sitting.

sometimes i think thats why i became so attracted to instrumentals, without words u dont have to listen as close unless ur nerding the fuck out and trying to pick up samples, which i do sometimes but not often.

If you want to add intros, outros, and background music use a DAW. I mean something as simple as audacity should work for that.

If your meaning instrumentals in the background while you talk just drop whatever instrumentals in on a different track than what you put the vocals on. Turn the volume down on that track to where it doesnít obstruct what you guys are saying.

Apply fades to the beginnings and ends of instrumentals as they transition into each other so they donít start and end abruptly.

For your intros and outros sound efx libraries type sounds can probably be found easily on YouTube.

I listened to both parts in full. Well done, I enjoyed it. I think if it was mapped out a little better in terms of having the talking points nailed down before starting it could be even better but no complaints here, cool to hear a couple of board members go back and forth. I'll listen whenever it comes around again.

Yea Crimeapple and Droog's styles are very similar to me. The only thing is I haven't found a rapper that Crimeapple could be like we did with Droog/Nas.
