Keep your shitty carp infested waters.
You will never know what its like to fish for 1 of 10 elusive carp in 20 acres of water because you cant catch for shit.
You will never have to be so cunning as to match the color of your hooklink with the clay on the lake bed.
You will never use fluorocarbon leaders and glass weights to disguise your end tackle because the fish you try to catch are easy like prostitutes.
Real anglers like me will visit a lake everyday for 3 months before even putting a hook in the water just to find the fish and build their confidence enough to take my chosen bait from one of their feeding spots.
You will never be on my level of fishing skills.

I tried carp fishing and its a looooong process not unlike whoadies vagina
Gotta chum the area in advance. I was using corn in this little pond that has 10+lb carp on the surface and all of a suggen I got a solid run.
Fucking catfish. Very disappointing.
Got this guy during lunch break in secret spot. quick 15 min fishing stop have the rod and worm hook prepped in the truck ready for action at all times.

I just looked it up. We got a similar fish here called pike.
Never fished for one but they are supposed to be a real good fight.
Get to the right venue and they can weigh in at over 40lbs here.

Winter is a good time to fish for pike, though i used to still be out for carp when the lake would freeze over.
Hardest time to bag carp but i enjoyed the challenge.

Salmon fishing is on my to-do list for sure. As well as Peacock Bass.
I was trolling for salmon in Lake George deep and caught a 5 lb lake trout. Was lame but always cool to catch a new breed.

Back in ye olde days in Scotland my dad used to go poaching for trout.
Them hairy ngas did nothing but stand in a stream and tickle the bellies of the trout with bare hands before lobbing them out the water.
Sounds like quite a talent to me.
Aint never had a salmon. We gotta get a licence to fish. Salmon and trout are on a separate licence so i never bothered.
Theres a big reservoir near me which is supposed to be great salmon fishing.

I ain't never ate what I caught. Always been catch and release. Though you wouldn't wanna eat fish out the lakes I go to, taste like mud.
Though I was offered to fish a private stretch of estuary a while back so if I ever get there imma munch them sea fish furreal.
I only been out on a few social fishing events over the last couple years so you only really bag small silver fish.
I'm tempted to go back to the last lake I fished. Place was hard as nails for carp, I wasn't catching nothing but bream and tench. There should be a couple 40lb carp in that place now so might go take a walk round it and see what the score is. If I get motivated enough I might do an overnighter.

The lake I used to fish had a lot of pike. Most were small but there was a few round 30lbs so I heard.
Apart from seeing them in the shallows the only times I encountered them was when reeling a fish in a pike would take a chunk out its ass thinking it was injured.
I got an old pike rod (my first rod given to me by my grandad) but it would need the eyes wrapped again as its not in great shape.
