First of all I want to say that I' pretty new to djing and that I don't know a whole lot about the equipment.
I have two Numark TT1625's & every time I put the needle to the wax this happens.

It does that on both turntables.
If I got a new cartridges would that fix the problem?
The one I have now is a Shure M25C, which I've had for maybe 2-3 years now. I'm not sure if it's great for scratching, but I definitely use it for scratching.
Or should I just get new turntables?
Because the one's I really wanted when I bought my first turntables was the Technics SL1200's. The 1200's were way too expensive, so I ended up going with 2 TT1526's for $40. on Ebay.

assuming that numark tt1625's have an anti-skating setting
i also only fux with technics...as you should
also take the tone arm weights off and put them in backwards
