1st 2 episodes were amazeballs and then it sorta slowly went downhill from there.

Of course i watched both seasons.

Def enjoyed it but i feel like it coulda been just one superdaffy 2 hour movie instead of two six hour seasons.

Towards the end of ssn two we started fast forwarding some of the more dramatic dialogue and got to the action.

There was a lot to be desired.

Yes it sucked my dick and yes i came but it was idk.

Of course iíll watch ssn 3 but im not really looking forward to it.

B

Shows I will never watch in my life that people enjoy:

The wire
The sopranos
Walking dead
Game of thrones
Stranger things

That's about 300 hours of useful time on my hands to read or watch lectures

Anime is better than those shows and that's a fact since it sells more and is popular around the world

Wynona ryder sucks ass though. She over acted in every scene. Otherwise great show and even better soundtrack

never really understood why people are so dismissive of anime, an animated show/movie can basically tell the same story as a live action one. it's just a different medium. of course there's some japanese tropes/cultural differences that can be offputting if you're not familiar with it, but most should be able to get used to these things, or at least overlook them. live actions shows and movies also borrow a lot from anime, and in some cases rip them off completely.

also there's just as much trash anime as there are trash tv shows or anything else - movies, music, games, etc.

i agree that winona ryder's performance in s1 was way over the top, but she was much better in season 2. overall season 2 was good, but i feel like these tried to cram too much into it, and they introduced a few characters that ended up not being important at all. episode 7 didn't even need to exist, and hopefully they'll do something bigger with max and her brother next season. also liked what they did with steve this season, his character did a complete 180.

Yeah steve's story was cool, and made him way more likeable. I liked that australian dude too, always a fan of strong minor characters who play no real role in the bigger plot. Although if there's a season 3 i bet there is more to his character and his sister's.

Has s3 been confirmed? I kinda feel like they wrapped everything up well

Agreed that winona was way better in season 2. She blended in with the other characters at that point.

yeah steve's whole redemption arc was great, especially those moments where he was giving dustin advice. i think a lot of those more personal character moments were some of the best parts of the season.

billy was cool though, he really did seem like a bully/antagonist from a stephen king novel. that fight between him and steve at the end was hype af. i feel like he'll come back and be a bigger part of next season though.

season 3 was confirmed, but not "officially" by netflix. the duffer brothers have confirmed it in interviews, they said they want the show to be four seasons in total. i agree that they wrapped things up nicely this season though, so i'm really curious about what direction they'll go in with season 3. i REALLY hope it doesn't turn into this campy x-men spin off with eleven and eight. i'd like more backstory on eleven, but that episode wasn't even really about her. i think that was a mistep, it didn't really fit the vibe of the rest of the show.
