figuratively.
this track is really nice. i may be ignorant here but is this beat in house, cause it s real firey man. also for the record you stoned that verse, and your squad should smack themselves for tryin to follow the impeccable flows. should have gone last imo.

posted Sunday, June 17, 2012 2:11:16 PM Yea we all got a grind outside this board... Completely understand.
If by in house you mean did I make it, than yes. . haha. . Thats me on the chorus too. I just recorded it normal, ran the vocals through my keyboard, linked it with an instrument and played the melody so it distorted it proper.
As far as the verses.. Ive heard that the best verse should go last, but i look at it different. I think that most people don't listen to the full track... so I at least want them to hear my ish and judge it off that... and if the other dudes loose em, so be it. But at least they didn't go first, and then someone cut it off before I even wreck.
That being said, I fucks with these cats on this track alot, so no disrespect to them at all. I think we each offer something unique.... hopefully.

posted Sunday, June 17, 2012 4:01:29 PM The hook is low...but when I turned it up, it resonated to loudly (because I played it with a synth bass). and I couldn't find the proper filter to tone it down... really a pain in the ass to get it decent.
I used a Korg simulator patch on Reason 6 to create it, so you could probably create the exact same thing with yours. It is a tricky thing though. Gives me much more respect for Roger Troutman (that dude that sings the hook on california love).

posted Thursday, June 21, 2012 7:55:36 PM Updated audio. same vid.... I turned the hook up and switched 2nd verse with second. Hook sounds much better but the main melody bass was also turned up as a by product.
