,i aint tryna look back, tryna move forward and leave the past in the past
won't forget the times i had, some good some bad, just tryna make each day better than the last
, am i the only one with regrets,
at the precipice of greatness but scared to take that step
workin up the nerve before i become a nervous wreck
unsure of my self, lookin for that exit bout to jet
took time to clean this mess don't want to have to do it all again
no more room under the rug, dust blowin in wind
and the broom is brand new it aint even broken in
gotta closet full of skeletons, can't even open it
cause if ya did they'd come rainin down, all around your head
be glad the doors closed you should count ya blessings
get stuck in the past, tryna get back to the present
step off the path and lose all sense of direction
pray to god that your ass is good at guessin
or next time study the map and know where your ass is headed
you only fail when you refuse to get up
grasp the essence of that and you passed the lesson

Not sure why you shouldn't use "scared" in a rhyme. Show me someone who claims they've never been scared and I'll show you either (a) a liar, or (b) the dumbest dead fucker on the planet. Anything on this planet without fear was eliminated by natural selection long ago.
Nothin' wrong with keepin it real, and not pretending you somthing that doesn't and cannot exist.

word. so i'ma go with scared then. had already said unsure. had this rhyme for a minute not written to anything then found a beat for it. its is kinda vague not sure what its about my self really. it could be whatever you want it to be. sound purdy when i spits it though. wrote the chorus after i found the beat. have part of a second might try to lay it down later. good looks though yawls. k.i.m.Partial IP: 131.92.110 |
