question for sab...what do you mean by adlibs ive seen you leave that remark at least twice now...
Im not good at engineering or recording at all. seriously. this was the first track I actually copied and pasted a hook with..all my others I just would spit the hook three times...i mean i just figured that shit out...so when you say adlibs what do you mean?
also for my mix i did 4:1 compression then i amplified it...i think the mix on some of my others came out better but i need a new mic or something...if i spit too loud it comes out clipping and garbled so im havin too hold the shit far from my face and turn the mic input on audicity waaaay down. hopefully its my mic and not my soundcard in my lap or something...anyway as a result when i compress you cant hear it unless i amplify it...but really i dont know what the fuck im doing. first verse sounds ok in my beats headphones....but the other two seem jacked up especially the last one

Some like to stack the whole verse, which i do occasionally. Eminem stacks his vocals 4 times to get his voice the way it is. Something to play and experiment with.
