posted Wednesday, March 07, 2012 9:26:39 AM i liked the video itself, the hook was catchy but the beat and raps were not so much... it seemed like you were trying too hard or something. sometimes you were straight up off beat, like when rhyming set up and go gettas in the first verse. it wasn't bad, it just wasn't tht great.

Lyrically made no sense, sounded like you where rhyming shit just to rhyme B.) looks dont make up for a lack of talent C.) jerky camera angles = not very encouraging to watch the whole damn thing.

I believe that if you study up on your own skill instead of copying someone else flow then you'll probably be dope. But as for this... this is terrible. I'm confident that you probably could be something great but not with this track..... & that instrumental was some trash on the real.
BTW - this isn't hate... Just hard on opinion.

posted Monday, June 04, 2012 10:55:40 PM its not that its bad... its that its confused... feels like when u wrote the track u really had no aim or motive behind it... not saying that every track needs one, but you can tell that the effort wasn't there lyrically.. I'm more of a lyrical person, so thats what stood out to me the most.. other than that, its a decent video compared to other i have seen

On some real shit, stick to crooning or singing or whatever the hook is. None of the verses added anything to the song... I hate just trashing shit, but there wasn't much here positive.

posted Monday, July 30, 2012 6:59:00 PM I don't copy anybody's style & am very sure of my style.Lyrics! Mos Def! That's what I do! I think they were so deep u haters missed it!to me the depth of lyrics can be expressed in such plain terms that the overthinkers miss its greatness.
the purpose of the song is its autobiographical as in the story of my life growing up in the country & points out the important qualities of Arkansas.
rhyming girl over in the first verse is a play on the title of the song Country Gurl, its suppose to be lighthearted & is emphasizing who the song is reaching out to. Also you are looking at the end rhyme only lol but those lines have internal rhymes dumb fuck - munchies, dusty, funky, sweetest, feed us, treat us, beat us
Verse 1 serves as an intro to the type of country gurl I'm talking about) I'm a Country Gurl/Back porch with the munchies girl/bare feet a little dusty girl/ climbing trees a little funky girl/but they say in the south we got the sweetest girls/ dont play better feed us girls/ know how to treat us girls/hot grits never beat us girls/welcome to my southern world/ we got nubian beauties & carmelo swirls/ senoritas & bohemian girls/ but we got some boys who need to step up/ and we got some men who some real go getters/ then we got them daddies who aint all about the cheddar/me i like them better/reppin all the hick towns down in Arkansas - (towns in arkansas & expressing the racism that still reigns the south dumb fucks) like I'm Pocahontas on a Cotton Plant tryin make it back to Omaha!/Have you ever been for a dumpster dive?/Diggin through the trash to survive?
