posted Wednesday, June 20, 2012 3:22:26 AM This is pretty much a collection of tracks I had that I didn't really push out. Music of me at my early stages as an artist, still developing my style my sound. I felt the title "Raised Up" is essential because it reminds me of where I used to be and where I'm at now, physically, spiritually, lyrically, production wise. The homeless man in the cover reminds me of when I use to be poor in spirit, hence the speaker in the picture. Around the time most of these tracks were made Epix wasn't even my official stage name. But after listening to these tracks it reminded me of who I'am as a rap artist, of who "Epix" really is. Overall I felt I touched on in a sense, different resurrections on this project therefore "Raised Up", being the concept. This is somewhat a resurrection of me... Raised Up by Epix1

posted Tuesday, June 26, 2012 11:43:51 PM No bad at all man! I think more the production was lacking but hopefully you've found some new producers since you did this project. Solid flow too, I would work on your confidence and solidifying your own lane more than anything!

posted Wednesday, June 27, 2012 3:42:34 PM the funky sound of the first track was beautiful. A few tracks had kind of a mainstream-ish sounding instrumental that i didn't really care for but your lyrics are great. if this is your old stuff, i would like to hear some new freshness to see where your at.
